Electropark

Electropark is the electronic music and performing arts festival curated and directed by Forevergreen. With international relations and collaborations, the festival takes place in Genoa, one of the most fascinating urban centres in the Mediterranean.

Every year since 2012 Electropark has brought new global sounds to the stage and created a programme focused on the hybridisation of artistic languages, cultural contamination and the opening up of new frontiers.

The festival has always ‘inhabited’ and enhanced various places in the city, ranging from historically and culturally significant locations such as Palazzo Ducale, Villa del Principe, Galata Museo del Mare and Teatro della Tosse, to urban contexts such as Genoa's Darsena, the urban periphery and the Old Town.

Electropark is an opportunity to enhance the physical spaces of the territory's urban and cultural heritage through music, entertainment and contemporary languages, inviting citizens to enjoy them. But above all, the festival also creates and inhabits spaces of meaning, relationships, inclusion and community, adopting the levers of contemporary culture in the creation of ‘safe spaces’ and open, porous and inclusive contexts for artistic experimentation.

The festival's production is managed with respect for social and environmental sustainability: Electropark is part of the Green Deal Circular Festivals, a network of ‘circular’ festivals that adopt and share ecological practices, and of KeyChange, a global network supported by Creative Europe that works to enhance gender equality and gender expansiveness in the music industry.
