T.r.a.n.s. Culture

‘T.r.a.n.s. Culture - Territori Rigenerazione Arti Narrazioni Spettacolo, a Sampierdarena e Certosa’ is the project by Forevergreen, Suq Genova and Noox Worldwide that from October to December 2022 gave life to a series of musical, theatrical and visual shows and workshops in the outskirts of the city's Ponente area.
Supported by the Bando ‘Per il sostegno alle attività di spettacolo dal vivo nelle aree periferiche della città di Genova’, promoted by the Genoa City Council and the Ministry of Culture, T.r.a.n.s. Culture was an opportunity for cultural participation and the regeneration of the territory, articulated around 15 events, almost all with free admission.
The aim of the project was to valorise diversity through the transdisciplinary nature of performance languages, and to encourage the inclusive involvement of communities, representing a real reminder of the inclusiveness of the performing arts in terms of regeneration and social innovation in the Sampierdarena and Certosa districts.
Among the main venues that hosted T.r.a.n.s. Culture were the Teatro SOC Certosa, the Virgo Club, the Casa di Quartiere 13D Certosa, the Centro Civico Buranello, the Teatro Gustavo Modena and Villa Giardino.
All in all, an ensemble of subjects and initiatives to enhance a colourful Italy rich in different cultures, which bind together through artistic expression, in a breath that starts from the suburbs and becomes international.
