Futura Urban Art Festival was a public art event that, in March and April 2024, involved 6 artists from various cities (also from outside Italy), engaged for several days in painting 60 shutters (10 per artist) in the Sestiere di Prè.
Each of them, selected through an open call for entries, realised their own artistic project, according to their style and expressive language.
The project was realised by coop. Ce.sto and Forevergreen together with other territorial partners. Artistic curatorship by Vittorio Vernazzano, specialised in writing and graffiti.
The initiative is part of the European project HUB IN in which the Municipality of Genoa is a partner as well as a pilot city in partnership with other European countries and aimed at promoting innovation and cultural and creative entrepreneurship in historic urban areas.
Project supported by the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the European Union.
