Electropark 2026: un mese di musica elettronica e arti performative

Quindici edizioni dopo, Electropark continua a evolversi come uno spazio di incontro tra musica elettronica, arti performative e ricerca contemporanea, rafforzando il dialogo tra artist*, territori e comunità attraverso nuove produzioni, collaborazioni e scambi internazionali.

Dal 5 giugno al 5 luglio 2026, Genova ha ospitato la quindicesima edizione di Electropark, il festival di musica elettronica e arti performative organizzato da Forevergreen. Per un mese, teatri, musei, club e spazi pubblici della città sono diventati luoghi di incontro per artist* e pubblico, accogliendo oltre 50 protagonist* della scena internazionale provenienti da oltre 25 paesi.

Guidata dal tema Outer Space, l’edizione 2026 ha intrecciato performance, live, dj set, workshop, residenze artistiche e progetti transdisciplinari, immaginando lo spazio come luogo vivo e di incontro tra linguaggi e culture.

Le performance e i progetti multidisciplinari hanno attraversato l’intera programmazione del festival, in particolare nel mese di giugno. Tra questi, lo spettacolo internazionale in apertura “Darkmatter” di Cherish Menzo, “Shinkolobwe” di Moor Mother accompagnata dai musicisti Drake, Mirra, Navarro, le lecture performance di Dean Bowen, i giovani coreografi Henry Rodríguez e Elias Klark, la performer Omì, fino al collettivo multidisciplinare Corps Citoyen con “Barrani”.

La proposta musicale ha attraversato l’intera edizione con live che hanno messo in dialogo linguaggi e geografie differenti, dal sound sperimentale di HHY & The Kampala Unit alle sonorità dell’artista palestinese Makimakkuk, fino all’incontro tra rap, elettronica e bass music di MC Yallah & Debmaster. 

Come da tradizione, Electropark ha rinnovato anche l’appuntamento a ingresso gratuito al Mercato della Darsena, con i dj set di CRUNCH (5how e IMD), Mabel e Turbolenta.

La programmazione dedicata alla club culture si è poi sviluppata tra Menodue Club e Bonfim Club con i dj set della nuova generazione di djs e producers Double Drop, Azzi On The Beat, Faustin e De Schuurman, per concludersi nella giornata finale al Bonfim con SocksLove, mad miran e randomplay con uno speciale B2B tra le ultime due djs.

Accanto al programma artistico, il festival ha continuato a investire nella ricerca, nella formazione e nello scambio internazionale attraverso le residenze Boys Won’t Be Boys con Vincenzo Turiano e Frans Blokhuis, e la nuova co-produzione internazionale Crossbeats sviluppata da Forevergreen con Agape Moçambique e Amsterdam Fringe.

Due percorsi che hanno confermato Electropark non solo come luogo di programmazione, ma anche come spazio di produzione, confronto e collaborazione internazionale.

Electropark 2026: A Month of Electronic Music and Performing Arts

Fifteen editions on, Electropark continues to evolve as a meeting point for electronic music, performing arts and contemporary research, strengthening the dialogue between artists, places and communities through new productions, collaborations and international exchanges.

From 5 June to 5 July 2026, Genoa hosted the fifteenth edition of Electropark, the electronic music and performing arts festival organised by Forevergreen. For one month, theatres, museums, clubs and public spaces across the city became places where artists and audiences came together, welcoming more than 50 artists from over 25 countries.

Guided by the theme Outer Space, the 2026 edition brought together performances, live shows, DJ sets, workshops, artistic residencies and transdisciplinary projects, imagining space as a living place where languages and cultures meet.

Performances and multidisciplinary projects ran throughout the festival, particularly during June. Highlights included the international piece as opening “Darkmatter” by Cherish Menzo, the great Moor Mother’s “Shinkolobwe” with the musicians Hamid Drake, Pasquale Mirra, Aquille Navarro, the lecture performances by Dean Bowen, the young choreographers Henry Rodríguez and Elias Klark, the performer Omì, as well as the multidisciplinary collective Corps Citoyen with “Barrani.”

The festival’s musical programme featured live performances that connected different musical languages and geographical contexts, from the experimental sound of HHY & The Kampala Unit to the work of Palestinian artist Makimakkuk, and the meeting of rap, electronic music and bass music in MC Yallah & Debmaster.

As is now tradition, Electropark also renewed its free-entry event at Mercato della Darsena, featuring DJ sets by CRUNCH (5how & IMD), Mabel and Turbolenta.

The club programme then unfolded between Menodue Club and Bonfim Club, with DJ sets by the new generation of djs and producers Double Drop, Azzi On The Beat, Faustin and De Schuurman, before concluding on the festival’s final day at Bonfim with SocksLove, mad miran and randomplay with a special B2B among the last two djs.

Alongside its artistic programme, the festival continued to invest in research, education and international exchange through the artistic residency Boys Won’t Be Boys with Vincenzo Turiano e Frans Blokhuis, and the new international residency/co-production Crossbeats, developed by Forevergreen together with Agape Moçambique and Amsterdam Fringe Festival. These initiatives reaffirmed Electropark not only as a platform for artistic programming, but also as a space for production, dialogue and international collaboration.
