Inspired by the principles of the Water Bodies Charter, this constantly evolving performance is the result of a free three-day workshop, in which participants will collaborate with multidisciplinary artists and performers. Artists, eco-activists, and citizens play an essential role, bringing their own perspectives to the final performance. They will perform alongside the Corpi Idrici collective, interacting with video projections, sculptures, texts, and sound tracks recorded during the workshop.

Corpi Idrici's Hydro Bodies Assembly is at the heart of the Transgeographical Hydro Bodies project, one of the winners of the Perform Europe 2024 call for proposals. The project involves a partnership between Forevergreen (lead partner), iii, Tenthaus, and Cashmere Radio. The workshops and performances in Genoa are in collaboration with the Con i piedi per terra committee and La casa nel parco - Casa Gavoglio.

Corpi Idrici

Corpi Idrici (https://corpiidrici.it/) is a transdisciplinary artistic research collective promoted by Forevergreen and Electropark. It was founded in 2021 with the aim of collectively creating a path of investigation and construction of imagery starting from the particular relationship between the city of Genoa and water, in relation to the struggles of local communities to defend their territory, possible responses to the environmental emergency, rituals linked to water, and the idea that it can represent a continuous creative and vital flow for the future, creating alliances with active citizenship groups, such as the Gli Amici di Ponte Carrega association.

To this end, the ‘Charter of Water Rights’ has been drawn up, which aims to be the starting point for a change in people's perspectives and behavior, to stimulate a new awareness of the fundamental role of rivers, streams, torrents, seas, and rainwater, which can activate a collective process of protecting them at the local level and a rapid change in city, regional, and national legislation, considering them subjects of law. Since 2024, Corpi Idrici has been part of the European network Confluence of European Water Bodies. The collective is composed of Gaia Cambiaggi, photographer; Anna Daneri, curator; Matteo Manzitti, composer and musician; Anna Positano, photographer and video maker; Nuvola Ravera, artist; Nicolò Servi, artist and urban explorer; and Lucia Bergamaschi, researcher and artist.
